I've been around more than once with these two. For ME, they are different. I don't believe the Effexor-XR stays in my bloodstream as long as it should because sooner than another dosage is required, like 4-5 hours sooner!, I am having anxiety, maybe like withdrawal anxiety. I am currently on Effexor-XR for the second time and take a dose in the morning. By 5p I am beginning to feel anxious and it increases until h.s. (hour of sleep), when I take my other dose. So, my evenings are pretty horrible. Best be talking w/ my new doctor about going back on Effexor tablets. I think I'm like you 'noodle'. Hope this helps 'me' or 'you'.
