Ive been on paxil since January the dose has been uped to 50mgs but I switch pdoc and have been seeing him for about 2 months he has kept me on the same dose as he says paxil is a very good medicine for anxiety/ depression so hes trying to get me on the right dose along with .25mgs of kolnopin 2 times a day morning and night, The last time I went to see him he told me hes giving me three more weeks on Paxil lower the dose to 40mgs sice im still having a few side effects and i shouldnt be having them any longer and if im still having problems hes switching me to Zoloft since i have family members on this medicine and doing fine he says thats a good indication it will work for me. this has been my second time on Paxil last year i was on it and did great but this time its not working as good it is working but not like it should when i wake up in the morning i still shake and feel anxious. anyone with any input on this. Hi Suebird.
All I can say is that he is right. Family members often do well on the same med so Zoloft may be the answer for you. I hope it is. :)
