Any BP II's try Symbyax and if so what is your experience?

SSRI's and zyprexa seem to go well in combination for many. You may want to ask your docotor for prozac and zpyrexa seprately, that way you can take the prozac in the AM and the zyprexa in the PM. (unless of course you are sleeping through the prozac)
Although I have not tried symbyax, I have tried prozac and zyprexa together. 20mg and 2.5mg respectivly. IF you find that symbyax is even putting you in the right ballpark, then you can ask your doc for separate scripts and adjust the doses as needed.
By the way, I know a Torque, and there are so few Torques out there, where are you from ???

Yes, I was thinking the same as you because the starting dosage is bit high for symbyax. I am going to try 10 mgs prozac with 2.5 mgs of zyprexa. I'm am concerned about weight gain and diabetes, though. Where am I from? This torque resides in NJ. And yourself?

The diabeties risk I believe stems from the weight gain. I have been taking 2.5-5.0mg without much change in my appetite. I have not gained any weight over 8months.

I am taking the SSRI celexa.
I am not really bipolar but I think I fit into a boat that many others do. We are the ones who were never really manic, but sometimes get overreactive to antidepressants.
