I take Adderall XR 30mg, Wellbutrin XL 300. Basically my point in this post is these medications really arnt effective, i have BAD ADHD.
Im so incredible frustrated and angry with myself because, just everything i do just done wrong! i forget all the time, about important dates and doctuments, my desk is an nuclear explosion, i make INCREDIBLE amounts of airhead mistakes such as screwing up my bill accounts/filling out doctuments/driving directions/ or sometimes when im talking with someone i cant focus clearly on what they are saying and look like i have a IQ of 80.
Yesterday i really did an airhead stunt, programmed the automatic mail stuffer to stuff 1500 mailers but with the wrong letters that paired with each other, my boss wasnt having an optimistic day either.
After i tried redo it, the machine broke, i yanked on the wrong cord was re-wiring them, and the machine came tumbling down. I was soo angry with myself, i wanted to pay someone to beat the shit out of me. Then almost wrecked on the highway, because i space out in turning lanes, ive gotten hit 2 times before, one was pretty bad, i should jsut classified as a hazard.
Somedays i take double or even triple doses of Adderall, the single dose hardly works. And the Wellbutrin is basically a placebo. I dont know what to ask, i just need advice on survival.

>Hi There,
It sounds like you are having a rough time, that's for sure. Have you tried Dexedrine or Methidrine? Had any luck trying Desipramine or Strattera instead of Wellbutrin?
Cheers,
Panda.

I always need high doses of drugs. Most recently I was on 90mg Adderall, 300mg Wellbutrin, 3mg Klonopin, and 20mg Lexapro. These are 4 of over 40 drugs I've been on.
At work a few months back, I had a total breakdown...couldn't do the simplest thing. Went straight to my psychiatrist and after 20 years being diagnosed with major depression, I presented with bipolar and got THE correct diagnosis. She put me on Symbyax 6mg/50mg and kept the Klonopin in the mix. My brain worked and the anger disappeared.
Stay far away from caffeine and talk to your psychiatrist.
I was very treatment resistant. Of course I was, the wrong disease was being treated. It can average seven years for a psychiatrist to diagnose bipolar. I'm not saying that is your case but it's possible. Talk it over with a competant psychiatrist and if you want, you can print this post and hand it to him.
You'll find your answer.Phil

That has got to be so very frustrating. I feel that way sometimes, although maybe not to that extreme. I have ADD, am 43 yrs old, and am on Adderrall, have tried every other ADD med, and still feel it isn't working.
I have no answers for you, except that I feel your pain and that I know your frustration. I hope you find the answers you need from your doctor. Let us know how it goes.
