I've been on Lex since mid-December, starting at 10mg/day. Worked well initially, but we decided to increase to 20mg/day a little while back.
I've been taking Lexapro at 20mg/day for about 3-4 weeks now and I think I need to scale back. I am tired of being overstimulated and unable to concentrate. I'm going to ramp down to 15/mg day for a while and see how that goes. My pdoc does not know this yet, but I will inform him next Tues. when I see him.
I am finding it very difficult to concentrate and stay on task. The only thing that even remotely helps is by smoking pot, which is not a good idea to do before work, but that's where my concentration is the worst (noise, phone, continuous interruptions).
Is there anyone else that augments Lex for concentration/focus? What to do? Every task takes way too much time to complete because I can't stay focused.

Wildman, i have been on lex for only a week and yes the anxiety symptoms i had here and there before taking Lex have increased and are annoying, since i have not been on lex long i really do not have any other side effects to report.... My opinion, if your high strung like myself or hyper or in a pretty high state of aniety all the time hehe (i have high blood pressure also)Lex just seems to come on strong to that type character...i dont know just my 2 cents..BUT let the Doc know what your doing at all times..
