Write down all your symptoms on a piece of paper and give them an order of sevarity, Ie which ones are the most diableing etc.
Doctors really like when you come prepared. They are also more likely to be able to help you best this way.
The reason I say to have them all there at once is that some doctors don't like if you go:.. well I have this, and I also have a bit of that, and I have this as well.
Sincerity is the key, you want them to believe you.
Best of LuckGET BETTER DAMMIT !!!! [ :) :) ]

Hi there!
Just wanted to mention that you should keep an open mind about the gender of your doc....I too prefer female dr's but was assigned to a male psych...and he has turned out to be the best doctor I have ever had in my life. While I was feeling bad, he called me every single day for two weeks. I didn't ask him to....he just did (and yes, he works for one of the "evil" hmo's). So, I hope that your experience is as good as mine!
Take care,
Dane =)
