I am taking Lithium and Depakote. I am doing somewhat better than when I was on celexa.
I do feel more like myself.
I am concerned about liver and kidney problems but hopefully I can keep my mind at ease with regular monitoring.

Hi,
The last time I saw your threads you'd made yourself a Transcranial Magnetic machine and that was working well.
Did it stop working?

Thats great !!!!
Im trying lithium also and have had similiar concerns. I figure all these meds have potential risk damage to my liver or kidneys.
If it is any consolation, I have a friend that has been on it for 5+ years, she swears by Lithium, and you couldnt pry it out of her hands.
Keep us informed.
best

Well my mom has been on lithium 25-30 years. I just assume her kidneys are doing ok, but I really don't know.
As far as the TMS goes. It certainly works, but it only lasts 4 months or so.Whenever I feel better, I have a little more common sence, and I want to hold off on the radical treatments for a while. I will use it again if necessary, but I'd like to do more research about the effects of it.
