nardil onset question

Posted by tox on February 16, 2004, at 17:58:04

I have been on Nardil for 5 weeks now. I started at 45mg a day and have worked up to 90mg a day/ 45mg bid. I have noticed that sometimes on my 2nd dose in the afternoon the "light" goes on for 2 or 3 hours and then goes off, other times I just get tired. I am wondering if anyone else has had the same experiance with Nardil and if these symptoms will eventually develop into a full response.

This, in my experience, signifies that sustained response is shortly to come...i remeber ages ago when I first took this great med....i was having some 'highs' but it wouldn't sustain...it finally took a full 6 weeks to kick in...and from then I never looked back....i'm not sure I would be up at such a high dose as you are yet, but what's done is done.

Try to be patient, Nardil is well worth the patience....
