Hey all,
I used to suffer from chronic daily tension headaches, and sometimes migraines. Recently, my wife noticed that I stopped taking ibuprofen. This had not even occurred to me, but it's true!
I just realized that I my tension headaches are *gone*, and I've not had one single migraine since starting Nardil.
So I did a Google on this, and lo and behold, MAOI's are used for migraine and chronic tension headache prophylaxis by neurologists. Wow! Granted, they are infrequently used nowadays, because other medications that are easier to prescribe have largely supplanted them. But I found it interesting that one site said that phenelzine helps 80% of migraine sufferers even when nothing else has worked! That's pretty amazing.
Anybody else on MAOI's noticed this? This alone is enought to make me want to keep up the Nardil. I used to have ibuprofen and coffee for breakfast! No longer.
Also, the Nardil drunkenness has subsided, and I no longer stagger for no apparent reason.

Matt,
Same deal. I no longer take tylenol daily. I also used to get migraines and tension headaches. Only a couple since I started Nardil. It's nice.Glad the staggering has gotten better.
