Hello All,
I am going to see my pdoc in an hour. I am going to tell her I believe I am bi-polar 2. I was thinking of suggesting she put me on lithium and wellbutron? has anyone taken this combo for bp2? Or what is a good combo of meds? I take effexor and xanax right now. But it's not helping my depression at all.Thanks

Hi, i to have that kind of question, the thing is with me though i can not take ssri's they send me to manic.. and i am shocked that u r on xanax especially that you say u r depressed, my doc will not give me no benzo's... my mind is that bad they just dont touch me... so if you get anywhere plse let me know..

Donna, I will let you know how my visit today goes. I think I have been given the wrong meds too. Thats why I want to express to pdoc that I might be bp2...I think Im just diagnosed with long term depress with social phobia..I dont think that is right. No ssri's have ever helped me....Wish me luck.

Donna, well my pdoc wants to keep me on effexor and xanax, but add lamitcal. Im going to give it 5 weeks and see if that helps. She thinks I prob. have BP2.....At least now I know what I have and Im trying to be optimistic about getting better....POSITIVE thinking right??
