I'm seriously thinking of adding dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine) to my sertraline (Zoloft) to fix the apathy/fatigue/lack of drive problems. Can you describe your experiences in this regard, not necessarily restricted to sertraline? I would especially appreciate hearing from someone in Australia, which seems to be particularly hysterical about restricting the prescription of stimulants (funny that - it takes the War On Drugs much more seriously than its instigator).

HI-
I'm not from Austrailia - but I have had experiences of adding Dextroamphetamine with SSRIs. I've always gotten only partial repsonses from SSRIs - like Zoloft and adding Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) has made a HUGE difference. If you are experiencing a partial response and have been on Zoloft for a while AND experiencing fatigue, etc. adding a stimulant can make all the difference in the world. At least it does for me.
Hope this helps....

>I'm in Australia, I think you need a Psychiatrist to diagnose you with ADHD before you can get Dexedrine. Something you should be able to get easily is Reboxetine. I'd like to try it but I don't think my GP is going to let me add a third drug to my Efexor+Remeron mix. I am on a waiting list to see a Psychiatrist, should get to see one in about 3 months :/
