I take serzone 225mg twice a day and neurontin 800mg at night. I have tried to ease off the neurontin which is not supposed to be habit forming, but when I do I wake up depressed and anxious. Anyone else try to get off neurontin.
Thanks

Sure, I actually used to take 1800 mgs 3 x days. But, one day I just quit taking it. But, I don't know how it is but I'm just really lucky. I'm medication tolerant or something. I really have low side effects from all medications I take. But, I just took 300 mgs today (the first time in over 4 months)... to help with anxiety. I wish I could be more help to you :( I'd say tirate down slow. And I think there are some old posts on this too! Good luck and I hope you feel better.. BTW, why do you take it at night?

i have since gained 60 lbs. in two increments and wonder which of my medications is to blame?
i am currently investigating a switch from neurontin ( i take 3 divided doses of 600 mg. each throughout the day ) to gabatril since the latter has no propensity to cause weight increase.
i had once before wained off of neurontin and, despite the claim that it is not habit forming, i developed anxiety, panic attacks and social phobia that preceeding my treatment with neurontin i had never had...be careful doing the same.
