Hi
I have been on remeron for about 8 months now. I started when it seemed that my whole life collapsed in front of me. I tried to stay positive during a very stressful and depressing period in my life. But in the end I could not cope. When i first started on remeron the pains of having extremely painful legs and bad headaches almost put me off taking anymore. I would be grateful for suggestions on how to control the side effects of sore limbs and the feeling of being tired all the time.
Thanks

Lonely One--you don't mention any other drug history besides the remeron. If that's the only thing you've tried, there's certrainly a chance that some other AD's could give you as much benefit without the high price of leg pain and fatigue. Of course you have to feel strong enough to go through a drug trial, and that can be stressful, especially if the next thing you try is worse or no better. But, if you responded well to the first thing you tried, that is a hopeful sign regarding other possible meds. Regards, Sailor

you did not list your dosage, but with remerom the more you take the less sedating. 45mg/day is the highest recommended daily dosage. when i took 45mg i did not experience daily sedation but it still helped me go to sleep in the evening.
hope things improve,

HiI am currently on 30mg. Do you think going to a higher dosage may help or trying other drugs to help.
Thanks
