my pdoc started me on 10mg/day first week then 20mg/day. i have not read about a starting dose this low?

Hi wsj,
I'm back (really busy with school & other issues).
My doctor started me at 10mg, too, increasing to 20 after the first week, then 30 4-5 days later. It actually was kind of hard for me to get used to at first.
My old pdoc also doesn't know squat about MAOIs, and I don't know how fast other people start. But actually I thought 10mg increments were the most I could handle anyway...

I went up a little faster, i think it was another 10mg every 5 days, but nearly everyone starts at 10mg. Hang in there!

I started yesterday (Mon.) on 10mg.; on Thurs. I will raise to 20mg for a week; then I'm supposed to go to 30mg.
