my daughter is on probation for drug possession . probation ends 5 weeks with last urine screen. She was put on xanax rxlast week for anxiety. this was one of the meds she was accused of possessing. how long does xanax stay positive in urine, and do u know anything about the law as far as her being onthis with rx.dml

As long as your daughter can prove she has a valid prescription for Xanax, she should be fine. I had to have a drug screen for my current job, and once they verified with my pharmacy that I had a valid prescription, they didn't even tell my employer that I was on it.

hi me again. thank u moonwitch for your help. I guess I need to know how long xanax is traceable in your system. my daughter has urine screen in december. for court /probation. SHe has a very tough probation officer and she wants her in jail. Duaghter suffers from anxiety and is bipolar. this does not seem to matter. so our question is should we come froward now and tell probation off. or try and wait out the urine screen in dec? thanks
