Is anyone on Seroquel for anxiety and if so, what dosage? I was recently detoxed from benzos and put on 25mg of this medication which after several days I'm finding it ineffective and am thinking I need a higher dosage.

I found it very helpful. I've used doese of 12.5 mg or less, but that's just me.

Seroquel made me mORe anxious. Benzo's work better, and stuff like seroquel is the big guns, much worse for you. Why did you switch?

Or potentially better for you if the small guns just don't cut it and one of the big guns ends up working well for you. But good question - why switch? Which benzo? Was it not working well for you and if so, would you try a different benzo? Were you at an adequate dosage? Your use of the word detox suggests to me that maybe your doctor considered physical dependence on a benzo a bad thing. If that's what he/she is thinking, it is by no means a universal opinion. Good luck.

Really? Ativan is my miracle drug!!!!! It does not in any way make me high. It just stops my anxiety. I am finding it becoming a pain in the butt to get anyone to keep prescribing it to me. They would prescribe it, and it worked. I was so happy that something worked. Then they cut me off, and now I'm trying all these other drugs that completely sedate me or make my anxiety worse. I could care less if I develop a bezo addiction - as long as it keeps me from having anxiety. I don't see the big deal really. What kind of permanent damage is there?
Thx, Chrissy
