Also--Re: Ultracet

I feel a little 'down' tonight, nothing happened, but it feels weird, sick to my stomach and just blah.
Does anyone know if the Ultracet interacts or decreases the benefits/chemicals of AD's like Lexapro (which is what I'm on)??
Thanks so much to anyone in advance,
I think I'll go lay down

Tramadol has serotonin/norepinephrine reuptake inhibiting properties, so it should boost the effects over the long-term.

as caleb mentioned, utracet has serotonin reuptake inhibition properties similar to lexapro. if the same doctor prescribed both, he/she should have mentioned a dosage reduction of lexapro if one were necessary (to prevent serotonin overload or serotonin syndrome). the doctor probably didn't see this as needed cos it sounds like your ultracet dose is fairly small. excess serotonin (more than you're used to but still safe) could possibly make you feel blah, or if it's been about 5 hours since your last ultracet dose, it could be the flatness and fatigue that can come on when that wears off (it's "activating," so when it starts to wear off, you might feel let down). anyway, just some guesses for you. i wouldn't give it too many more days if i were you -- they'd most likely be a waste of time, in my opinion. on the other hand,if you have a lot of pain and this drug is your sole option (docs like it cos it's not "scheduled"), you might have to endure the side effects, at least for awhile.

Thanks so much you two.
See my posts above.
I'm NEVER taking this med again.
Now, excuse me while I go pray to the porcelain god. (not intending to be graphic here sorry)
I need to chill, get some rest, right after I destroy this stuff.
Argggggghhhhhh
You 2 helped me A LOT!
Bless you both!
