Just want to note:
I've tried on various days using Adderall with and without baking soda (sodium bicarbonate).
And on days when I used baking soda+Adderall - the effects of it came faster, where more prolonged, and the side-effects were the same (crash after 7-8 hours, rather than 6 hours without sodium). So I think it is a very good idea to add it to the Adderall regime.

Yes your right, it does improve it...but it is not good for your body to do this all of the time. Please do a search here, there are some good explanations why its not something you should do all of the time.

I've read most of the threads on using sodium bicarbonate + amphetamines, and actually haven't noticed any warnings on using this combination every day. The body tries to make blood ph at a constant level all the time, so IMO it wouldn't be so BAD for the body to use 1000 mg of sodium with 30 mg of adderall once a day.

Here's cut and paste I did from a study of acid and bases.
The self-medicating type of patient will have tried to control the acidity using antacids (bases!). These can provide temporary relief, but research has shown that there are some side effects that may cause more harm than good. First, antacids must only be used to neutralize excess stomach acid. In the event that too much base is added to the stomach, the pH will rise (become more basic) above the normal levels and cause digestive problems. Luckily, the stomach contains some internal buffering systems that keep small amount of bases from doing large amounts of damage. This was the only part of the study, I could understand.
