I've been on Lexapro for about 3 months, 10mg. For last few weeks it seems to not be as effective, I'm starting to feel down again. I also seem to have a huge appetite again, much greater than it had been.
Are either of these common side effects?

Went to pdoc and he immediately raised dose from 10mg to 20mg. Have been @ 20mg now for almost 4 weeks and doing much better again. It may be possible an increase would help you also, worth discussing w/doc.

Hi, For me anyway, I've experienced these side effects, whether they're common or not, depends on each individual.
I've been on Lexapro for about 7 weeks now. I am noticing an increase in my appetite again. Have you talked to your doctor regarding a possible increase? I would wish the 10mg would do, but if you're feeling this way, would talking to your doc be an option for you?.
Also~maybe take a look at what has been going on, if anything, that has made you feeling 'down' again. Has something happened? PMS? (don't know if you're a gal), but I know PMS strikes me at times slightly, and can make 'things' more depressed than they have to be.
