I am bipolor and have been on lots of different med combinations i was just takin off prozac and put on effexor xr i was withdrawn and had no joy in life i was very irratable and hated everyone and thing. so the doc changed off of the prozac and gave me this i also take depakote er and he upped that from 1000mg to 1500mg a day has anyone had any luck with these 2 together and what about sexuall sideaffects i dont want it right now i and dont want to stay that way i have a wife and use to be very active i would like to get that back a bit

I'm on 500mg Depakote twice a day. The Effexor was not good for me but we're all different. The Lexapro 10mg has been the best combo with Depakote for me so far. Yes, the Effexor did stifle the libido but maybe you'll be different.
