If anyone has lost weight on Trazodone- please let me know!! My pDoc is giving it to me because I can't fall asleep at night. Thank you!

Trazodone is more apt to make you gain weight.

I've been taking it for 2 years for sleep (anywhere from 25mg up to 225mg depending how much I needed on any given night). I have never been concerned about weight gain from trazodone. It doesn't have any effect on my weight. I think that weight gain would be possible but it would have to be on pretty high doses, higher than you should need just for sleeping.
