I started klonopin a few days ago and find that im tired during the day. It has helped control my anxiety though. Does anyone know if this tiredness will wear off?

You can expect the sedating effects to wear off with continued use - probably ina couple of weeks - but the anti-anxiety effects will not.

Yeah those effects go away as you build tolerance. The tiredness will stop but not the anti anxiety effect.
It took me only about a week at 2 mgs.I am now up to 6 mgs and I have no sedation or tiredness with that dose. But the anti-anxiety effect is good.

It took me about 1-2 weeks for those side effects to disappear, but then they went away completely. The anti-anxiety effects remain, though. During the "break-in" period, I split my dose throughout the day to minimize side effects. Now I just take my whole dose in the AM. It's normal to feel sleepy, clumsy, forgetful, etc. when getting used to a benzodiazepine, but this generally wears off pretty fast, so I'd just stick with it for now.
