I'm not sure about the cause of my problem, is it peri-menopause, birth control, or Lexapro?
This really started before I began taking Lex, but is Lexapro a contributing factor?
Periods have been irregular, this month it came a week early. Have skipped a month several times, and spot between periods occassionally. Gyn Doc said it was BC and changed me from Estrostep to Yasmin. Have had the same types of problems w/both.
Also curious about BC contributing to depression. I was not aware that this is a possible SE of BC.
Comments and personal experiences would be most helpful and greatly appreciated.

Celexa and Lexapro both screwed me up. My period came every 3 weeks and I had severe cramps. They were the only two meds to ever do that to me. I can't tolerate BC pills at all, they make me very moody and agitated. Hope you are feeling better soon!
