After suplementing with Chromium, 500 mcg perday, I noticed improved sleep, and reduced stress.
This link shows that chromium can reduce the sensitivity of 5HT2a receptors. This is the action that improves insomnia. It can also raise norepinephrine in the brain.Linkadge

Hi that is interesting information.
I have a friend who take chromium to help regulate her blood sugar throughout the day. She is not diabetic, but her blood sugar fluctuates so much that she often feels faint.
I guess it has many redeeming qualities. :-) And it's inexpensive too!

There are studies going on to see if it is effective for bipolar or schitsophrenia.

My pdoc had me add chromium to my cocktail to enhance AD effects of meds. It seems to work.
