When I was suffering from severe Soc. Phobia, I was extremely hypersensitive to negative feedback. But I was also very sensitive to reward, and would get a huge rush of pleasure after I experienced what I perceived to be a socially successful experience.
Presently, I have very mild social phobia, and am mildly sensitive to perceived rejection. However, the same drug that has caused this also seems to dampen my ability to feel reward as well.
SO MY QUESTION IS: Has anybody had problems with reward-deficiency? What drugs/supplements, if any, have you found effective?

An inability to feel reward, which is extremely similiar to an inability to feel pleasure(anhedonia), signifies a lack of
activity in the mesolimbic cortex of the brain. Chemicals that raise dopamine levels or activate the dopamine system should help greatly. Medication - Wellbutrin, Ritalin, Mirapex, Dexedrine, Adderall, Levo-Dopa (could also be considered a supplement), H1 antagonist anti-histamines (benadryl, vistaril, phennergan), Nardil, Parnate... probably others I am forgetting.Supplements - NADH, SAM-e, TMG, B Vitamins, Fish Oil, L-Theanine, possibly L-tyrosine and L-phenylalaine (probably won't be very helpful), DHEA... probably others I am forgetting.
