I've had a fair amount of (illegal) opiod experience in my time. In my opinion, opiods probably would not be the best drugs for SP - due to their tendency to cause irritabilty and reduce GABA transmission - which can cause anxiety in social situations. Of course, this may not be the case for some people, and I've had many wonderful experiences using opiods socially. However, I've also had my share of nasty social experiences - feeling good, but can't tolerate the company of people, become pissy and edgy.
