Anyone have experience with Zoloft withdraw?

Posted by Sunnyday on March 10, 2003, at 10:13:40

I have stopped taking both Paxil and Lexapro in the past due to severe night sweats. Both times, I experienced severe withdraw symptoms. I am thinking about trying Zoloft but do not want to go through the same withdraw experience if it doesn't work. Has anyone experienced withdraw symptoms from Zoloft?

I had a some but it was not bad at all.

Everyone is different in this respect, you may have a hard time while I did not.

If you taper, exercise, drink a lot of water and take extra vitamin B complex, you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Good luck.

NOTE: Although I haven't tried it, I assume switching to Prozac before quitting would make it even easier.

Compared with some of the meds I didn't find Zoloft withdrawel to be that bad. MUCH easier than Paxil withdrawel in my opinion. Just taper off and go slowly, that's the best route.
