Has anyone stopped Risperdal and then tried it again at a later time? If so, how did that go?
I've heard it doesn't work well with Zoloft (going back for a second try).
Thanks,
Shar

Shar,
I saw your posted message and would like to know if you once were on risperdal and now you are on it again?
If so is it working better for you now. My daughter was on it for awhile but it did nothing for the schizophernia, it did control her agitation though.
Just was curious.

No, I'm not on it again. I tried it once and liked it, but got too twitchy to be comfortable taking it. So I got off of it. But, in a thread above, someone wrote about a vitamin solution to TD, and I thought if that worked, I'd like to try Risperdal again.
The reason I asked about taking it after having stopped once before, is that some meds are known to not work the second time around. Certainly, even for those meds, it's not 100% sure it won't work, but they just have a reputation for it.
