Hey.
So I've got an idea for a public speaking cocktail, to be used prn and very occassionally.
But here we go:
400mg of Neurontin (at once, 3 hours prior to speech)
80mg of Inderal (if you don't have an above-average heart health, stay away, but I happen to have some good confidence in ol' thumpy, considering what he's been through with all the meds I've had) - take 1 hour before speech
2mg of Klonopin Take 1 hour before speech
30mg of Evoxac if you get dry mouth from above (this will enhance salivary gland function, good for speaking. Watch out, careful monitoring necessary if taken with beta blocker like Inderal)
I'm speaking in front of an audience to introduce a speaker next month, and I figured this was the best cocktail. The tough thing is to get a dose high enough to get an effect but low enough not to become sedated. I'd try 800 Neurontin, but with the 2mg of Klonopin that may be overkill and could just make me slurry speech/tired.
Oh yeah, take a hugely long nap right before-- like 4 hours, Benadryl or Klonopin induced if necessary- to oversleep, offsetting the sedation involved with Klonopin.

Hi,
This seems a bit extreme ! I hate public speaking too. I guess the best thing to do is just to get practise and try and relax.
Anyway good luck, its a nerve wracking thing.

Anyway, Neurontin is a sociabilizer, enhancing sociability where the Klonopin simply kills anti-sociability, but Klonopin reduces the drive to talk. And Neurontin cannot stop my heart from racing suddenly in class, so I would need a beta blocker for that.
