Hi , Im taking cod liver oil , 3 spoontable per
day. In the bottle that I buy does not say
say something about how much EPA or DHA contains
Only says about Vitamin A , D and calcium.
How can I know how much EPA contains ?
is this possible?
thank you

http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/cgi-bin/list_nut.pl
The USDA has a nutrient data base, and gives reports of what is in foods (this is a great resource!). The above is the url for cod liver oil, which says that the amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids per tablespoon is about 3 grams. It gives the list of specific pufa's in their number format, so I am not sure which are epa and dha. (I am sure someone here can explain that part of it). The sense I get from reading about prepared fish oil supplements and reading the labels on a couple of different products is that the fish oil often contains 1.5 times more epa than dha. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, please!

Noa's link is the right one but it won't open the info page. Use this one instead & select how much cod liver oil & you'll get the same info Noa was trying to link you to.
