Hi guys,
Will you please clarify some things for me?
1) For those of you who take Wellbutrin to counteract sse from Paxil, Celexa, Lexapro, etc., how much of it do you take every day? I couldn't even tolerate 150 when I was titrating down from 300.
2) Is there some other drug available that counteracts the sse? After a week on 10, it was close to impossible for me to have an orgasm. I did finally, but gosh! I thought it'd kill my husband... and I was about to hang it up... I was supposed to increase to 20, but not if that's what I have to look forward to.
3) Are there any ADs that AREN'T SSRIs that work well with little or no s/e? I don't much care about addiction since in my opinions these ARE addictive, just in other ways, and they certainly do make me somewhat "high" because they take effect long before the supposed two or three weeks.

Hi
I'm sorry that you didn't do well on Wellbutrin. I had terrible sse from Paxil, so my doctor put me on Wellbutrin. So far, it has worked pretty well as an anti-depressant (I've started my 4th week yesterday) with no side-effects of any kind whatsoever. I really don't know much about anti-depressants in general, but have you talked to your doctor about Remeron? I've heard lots about how it'll have you put on weight, but I don't remember hearing anything about sexual side-effects. It reminds me that recently I posted a message here enquiring about Ixel (Milnacipran), which is available here in Brazil from Roche. No one seemed to know about it, since I got no reply. Maybe it's not a FDA-approved drug in the US...
Best wishes,
Ricardo
