Dr Bob,
How come when I do a search on certain people who I know have posted in the past I get zero results?
For instance, when I do a search on Adamie19 who I know has posted, nothing comes up.

This is a quick one to answer & doesn't take full brain power for me today. I haven't checked to see if the search is case sensitive (differentiating between capital & small letters) but space would make a difference. Adam has posted as adamie19 (no space between his name & the number). Check your spelling again for some of the names. There may be more to it, but I noticed that right away.

I told you my brain power wasn't up to full snuff. When I looked at your message again, I realised there was no space. Brain doesn't work right & neither do my eyes it seems.
I think adamie19 doesn't show up as he only started posting with the 19 tacked on recently. A search for adamie will show results. From this, I figure that the more recent posts haven't been archived yet & don't show in search results.
You can often find what you need, if you go to the time period you think someone posted (you may have to check a few past time periods in '02 to find the right one) & if using Internet Explorer, select Edit from the menu at the top, then select Find (on This Page) or Ctrl+F, & type in the word you wish to find. IE will highlight each instance of that word but you have to keep clicking Find Next. It's a useful tool to know about for any web-site when you're looking for something in particular.
This is the end of the thread.
