Medical jargon/terminology

One of the factors which keeps people from taking a more proactive stance in their health care is the very terminology that health care uses. I think it's highly ironic that the following link mis-spells dictionary....but here's a way to demystify some of the terminology. It has internal links between related terms, so you can follow a meaning until you get a better handle on context, etc.

Here is a better site:

http://www.medical-condition.com

It lists a lot of good sites. It has a medical dictionary site listed that is well worth reading and then some.
