I have every short-acting stimulant that exists (no, really, literally, I do).
Adderall and Dex seems to be the only thing that keeps me up.
Anyway, I have Anxiety and ADD, which is tricky... Klonopin .5mg makes me tired. I'm rather afraid to mix this with Adderall when I take it because Adderall makes me anxious.
Anyone try Provigil and find it offset drug-induced fatigue or lulls? Or another med, without causing anxiety?
thanks!

>Hey there, I don't know if this could be of any help at all, but sublingual B-complex seems to help (w/o anx.), and this is very strange (and I haven't been able to figure it out), is taking 500mg of l-tyrosine (AM-empty stomach) which I have been tinkering with for months now. It seems to have a very odd positive synergy with low-dose Effexor+low-dose WB. I get a positive response for a week or so and then it fades.. I quit it for a while.. and then I retry it again for a while and it "works" again for several more days. I don't really know what to make of it. Anyhow, my meds now are XR-Effexor 12.5mg + L-tyrosine 500mg + sublingual B's in the AM, then bupropion 75mg + Ritalin-LA 20mg + 2G fishoil + multivitamin at midday with lunch, then Depakote 250-500mg + Klonopin .5mg + Neurontin 100mg + diphenhydramine 25mg at bedtime.

For some on this board, Adderall + Klonopin seems to be a great combination. It is for me -- I take 1 mg Klonopin + 5 mg Adderall together every morning, then often another 5 mg Adderall a few hours later (but no more Klonopin). There seems to be a synergism between the two (for me). I have anxiety problems, ADD, and recurring depression, but most of this has been alleviated by this combo.
I started with Klonopin; it treated my anxiety extremely well, and the sedation problems disappeared completely after a couple of weeks. I added the Adderall later because of the ADD and some remaining depression, and it's worked like a charm. The same dose of Klonopin is just as effective after over a year of use, and the Adderall still works at the same dose after about 10 months. I do take Xanax PRN (very occasionally) and 1200 mg Neurontin/day, but it's clearly the Klonopin + Adderall that are having the major positive effects.
I took Provigil for a while and it was OK -- not great for ADD, but definitely stimulating without excessive anxiety. It should be fairly easy to get free samples -- Cephalon (the pharm. co. that markets it) is eager to get it widely prescribed for various uses and hands out samples to doctors. You might ask your Dr. about trying it.

Tried Provigil with SSRIs- didn't help me much, but I've heard that it has helped others.

Howdy Ya,ll !!
I take Methadone,Xanax, and Paxil so my doc gives me Adderrall to even out the sedation and does a very good job.Only bad is that I pay cash for meds and Adderrall is pretty expensive.may ask doc to switch me to Dex. Festus
