For the last 6 months iv been taking .5mg of xanax in the am, remeron desipramine pm. The xanax helps me through the day, to say about 2pm, then i take 1mg of klonopin to relax the rest of the day, which makes me somewhat tired,but functional. i tried .5mg of klonpin, though i was very edgy anxious, so i upped it to .75 to 1mg.
Today for the first time, i did not take the xanax. I did feel somewhat tired, but also anxiety and very adjitated. Could this bee some xanax withdrawl included in the klonopin sedation? Its 4pm, and feel i need to take another 1mg of klonopin. I have the .5mg xanax, but im trying to just cut that out and stay on klonopin. correct me if im wrong, but xanax withdrawls are worse, even with klonopin, i still feel them?????OH i forgot, istead of taking .5mg at 7am, i took 1mg of klonopin. which should last up to 12 hrs. But at 5pm, ill prbably end up taking the other 1mg of klonopin until the xanax get out of my system> any suggestions?
ZOLOFT will be started tommorrow 25mg in the am with klonopin 1mg.

yes im following up to my own question, lol, anyway, yes i believe its some xanax withdrawl. I just took .5mg of xanax at 530, when i began feeling the klonopin 1mg effect diminish, began feeling really anxious, panicy, and by 600 i feel good again. MMM i feel im more amune, addicted to xanax far more than klonopin.
My experieces gave me this. At .5mg of xanax, im not as sedated, feel more alert, less anxious or no anxiety at all, calm no ephoria. Last around 6hrs at this dose. The klonpin 1mg , i feel sleepy, somewhat a bit anxious, but i feel this is the xanax withdrawling and klonopin is not totally elimnating the withdrawls.
Maybe what ill do is drop the xanax to .25 in the am with .5mg of klonopin. Then say around 4pm, take the .5mg again with .25 mg of klonpin but im still using the same darn dose. Id rather not be sedated at work in the day, and more sedated in the evening when im at home. Ill see what happens
