Paging Dr. Kate - experimental results

Posted by Squiggles on August 13, 2002, at 15:15:00

Well, the NET has a thousand eyes,
and I can't say that I would be so bold
as to reveal this stuff, unless it was some
sort of round-table endocrinology seminar,
but hey, for the sake of science, here are
the results:

Testing kidney function of long-term lithium user:

24-hour voiding output: 3330 milliliters;

Times taken to void: 9

(suspicious symptoms were described above
in a previous e-mail; unusual circumstance - heat wave as we speak)

That's it -

Thank you.

Hi Squiggles, well -- that was quick. 3.3 liters is a lot although not in diabetes insipidus territory. I'll put my thinking cap on. Congratulations, you have polyuria.
