Hi vegaluff,
thanks for the reply as far as i can gather this stuff is anxiolytic and is not related to tryptophan.
It displaces radioactive flunitrazepam whatever that means
I tried 5 htp a tryptophan type substance but with no effects at all.
There are no instuctions apart from one a day.
You could try the symbiotics website for more infoThe one positive thing is that they have patented it, something I rarely if ever see with "natural"
products so they are putting their money where their mouth is for onceall the best

Looked up Flunitrazepam on Altavista. It's Rohypnol AKA "Roofies", the so-called date rape drug. I don't exactly know what "displacing" a radioactive (!?) form of it would do. Guess one can only judge it by its effects. BTW, I'm suspicious of the rationale that something's a "date-rape drug" as a reason for banning it. GHB, for example, makes people horny & sociable; I get the idea our gov't would prefer us to be chaste and competitive, lest we become a nation of commie fornicators :) I'm leery of the company that makes Tryptozen, because their main stock-in-trade seems to be bovine colostrum. That was pitched to bodybuilders back in the early 90's as a musclebuilder (you'll grow like a calf and be a bull in no time). I tried it, didn't grow any muscle on me, a little later I bought a book called Optimum Sports Nutrition by famous sports doctor Dr. Michael Colgan. In it, he ridicules the notion that bovine colostrum could ever be biologically active in humans. I went to Symbiotics website, of course they would dispute that, but Dr. Colgan is more objective, I think. Anyway, I think I'll be a sucker again :) and try Tryptozen. Pharmacuticals (I've tried 20 or so) do nothing for me, and I'm really depressed and ahedonic. The price isn't bad. I can't read the bottle picture clearly. I checked several web retailers, and none of them say how many capsules you get in a bottle. Can you enlighten me?

sorry got cut off some how in mid message!
The price is 15pounds for 15
but on the net I have seen it at the same price for 30.
It was an american company, cant remember the name but if you put tryptozen into google it will find it for you.
All i can think of about the flunitrazepam is that tryptozen must bind to the same site and thus have somewhat similar effects as well as cortisol reduction.
Just wondering if you had any thoughts on the steroid/ immune system question , if steroids were sold on the streets for a high like cocaine I would dismiss it as a short term bad idea , but I know 3 people who take methyl prednisolone for ms or asthma and only one had any mood enhancement
- the only one who suffers from depression as well , the other two got nothing but some relief from their ms/ asthma.
Anyhow good luck with the tryptozen!

Glenn, I've been reading for some time (since I used to lift weights) about people's reactions to both pharma steroids & designer steroids (testosterone analogues that are naturally occuring and thus legal in the US), and it's not uncommon for guys to report that when they find a steroid that works to build muscle faster, their mood is elevated also, and when they "cycle off" the 'roids, they get a bit of a letdown. It's interesting, I had already tried two search engines for tryptozen; I tried Altavista first, and there are NO hits for Tryptozen, but there a quite a few hits on Google! The price here in the US is $16.95 (plus shipping, presumably) per bottle. Before I order, I'll shop around more extensively, I only checked 4-5 sites, I might be able to beat that. I guess I'll get a bottle of 15 to start, so I can evaluate it. Best wishes, velaguff.
This is the end of the thread.
