I took Celexa for about one year. I felt great at first and then I began to noticed my need to drink alcohol. I was never a drinker before and now that I am not taking Celexa, I have no urge to drink at all. My brother is also taking Celexa and he was not a drinker, but he drinks every day now. Any body else have this problem?

i was a drinker b4 i started celexa.. actually they prescribed it to me in rehab .. well i started drinking again about 3 months out of rehab.. what i have noticed is that i drink alot more at one time, and i always black out. always! im only 20 yrs old. i dont have a serious drinking problem, only went to rehab bevause of parents, but when im on celexa i black out after about 7 beers and i know i have a greater tolerance than that .. most people do.. its pretty freaky and ive considered quitting my meds altogether because of this.
