My doctor has recently added topamax to my combo of remeron 30mg and prozac 80mg, in order to alleviate my anxiety and mood swings. I was taking Klonopin but do not want to become addicted to it, since I had a previous problem with ativan. I have been going through old posts but it seems that topamax is prescribed to sufferers of bipolar disorder, fibromyalgia, and siezures, none of which I have. He said, that I should lose some of the odious remeron weight I have gained, as one of its side effects. I am just concerned this may be too much medication for my condition ( Major depressive disorder) and if any one else out there, who is diagnosed as unipolar, is taking topamax. I am already experiencing some blurry vision, but I hope this will subside with time. Anyone with any topamax tales please reply!Deli
