Has anyone ever combined tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs)? Which ones and why?

Scott, my combo was imipramine & amoxepine. Worked very well, really. Too much imipramine & I just about developed paralytic ileus. So added amoxepine till I got the right response & the constipation didn't worsen too much. Started by adding desipramine instead but its side-effects bothered me & worsened the depression. Amoxepine was the next TCA we tried & it worked so I stayed with that combo for years.
