I have been taking Wellbutrin for about 3 weeks, not too sure if I am "feeling" anything, other than perhaps more energy. I am taking 150 mg daily.
**What were your first few weeks like, and has anyone had a seizure?

> **What were your first few weeks like, and has anyone had a seizure?Wellbutrin SR is less likely to cause a seizure than many other ADs. The seizure thing is overblown (IMO).
My doctor pushed the dose from 150 mg to 300 mg in 4 days. The medicine made my vision a bit blurry and killed my appetite (this dissipated). After 2 weeks a profound antidepressant effect kicked in (my motivation and interest was enhanced). The medicine did not make me anxious. My sleep was cut from 10 hrs a night to 7 hrs a night with heavy dreaming.

Feeling an energy boost after a couple of weeks is typical. I always got my best house-cleaning projects done then (whenever my dose was upped). That great feeling will dissipate, but it does not mean that the drug is pooping out. It means that it is finally starting to work. I have been taking WB since June of 1999. I currently take 300mg but have taken up to 400mg a day.
Good luck.
