Im considering starting Nardil for my social anxiety and depression. SSRI's work marginal with weight gain, fatigue, and apathey. I was wondering who has been on Nardil and how the weight gain has been and if it finally subsides? TIA.

> CarlosI had trouble with weight gain on some meds (most recently Celexa) so my doctor put me on Parnate instead of Nardil. They are both MAOIs, but Parnate isn't supposed to promote weight gain the way Nardil sometimes does. Since I've been on it I've lost a little and haven't gained a bit. I'm not sure of what other differences there are between Nardil and Parnate, you may want to ask your doctor, but if they are basically the same I would recommend Parnate over Nardil.
