Hi all
I'm toying with the idea of taking Parnate (for at least a year I've had an unsubstantaited 'fear' of Parnate. I'm currently on Serzone 200mg morning and evening. What do you feel about titrating the Parnate up while I titrate the Serzone down. Also, which to use for unwanted anxiety caused by Parnate? Neurontin, clonazepam, is what I thought would 'go down well'.
Thanx

Hi. I can't really comment on the Serzone+Parnate (I'm a good little PDR boy). If you decide to take them at the same time, just look out for serotonin syndrome, I guess. MAOIs seem to potentiate benzos (more with Nardil, maybe not Parnate). With clonazepam, I had bad hypersomnia. You might want to try a shorter-acting benzo if over-sedation becomes a problem...
