Hi Ross,
I wrote this before to someone (maybe you?), but it took five full weeks for nardil to kick in for me. I stayed at 45mg and when it kicked in, it changed my life dramatically. I had read that it might take six weeks, so that's the reason I hung in there. I started nardil pre availabilty of SSRIs and I could not tolerate any tricyclics. Knowing my options were so limited, and the fact that I had so few side effects kept me hoping. When it kicked in it was absolutely evident and I have been on it my entire adult life (until it finally pooped out for me about two years ago). If it works, it's a great drug and was a life-saver for me. Try not to analyze your mood every day-- it should take at least three weeks to kick in.
