Hi everyone i have been on effexor-xr 75mg for about 5 months now with taking an extra on now and then. In the begging i found it 2 work wounders for me. But for the last month my anxiste has been showing up also i found that the med didnt do much for my depresion at all. I have been on many diffrenent types of meds like prozac paxile and some others that i cnt remember. It seems like my body will only acecept the meds for so long then it regects the meds. I have a 7 yr old son that i keep going and trying to find the right meds but i am getting very tired of trying and not finding the right ones. Well i guess i have to go back to the doc on monday againe and tell them this is no longer working. Wish me luck in finding the right med or meds.

Hey Spicy,
I found your post (looked for it after reading your other one, the one said please read my post etc...) Sorry you have that trouble with meds. Have you talked to your doctor about raiing or decreasing dosage, or adding something to it (either for augmentation, or for the anxiety?)Kat26

> Hi I started on a low does of effexor when I began 9 months ago. I ended up finding that 300mg worked good for me. I also take wellbutrin too.
I take wellbutrin in the morning - its supposed to give you energy and in the evening I take effexor (300mg) This mix seems to work for me. So, dont get discouraged you probably need a higher does.
I hope this helps
