Hello, my current medications are :
Remeron 30mg bed
desipramine 50mg bed
Gabartril 2mg Breakfast 4mg bed
xanax .5mg 6am.
Ambien 10mg With remeron. This combo is helping alot, i fall fast alseep. I usually fall out around 1130pm. I find my self awaking at 5am, unable to fall back asleep, sorta anxious and pariniod. I then take .5mg of xanax, around 5 or 6am, and calm down somewhat, but am unable to fall back asleep. I want to sleep to atleast 8am.
question is. Should i increase the gabatril to 8mg? Or looking to dropping ambien and remeron and adding serquel? will this preferably help?
any suggestioins? >

I believe that Seroquel will lengthen the amount of hours you will spend asleep, and I know that from personal experience. Ambien only lasts for a few hours and its not really designed to keep people asleep--its more for the falling asleep part. Also, the Seroquel will help for your anxiety most of the day.
I lost my faith in Gabitril after I noticed that I had to take more and more and more of it every day to get the same antidepressant effect.
You are still taking a very low dose of desipramine, and thus you should probably have a blood-level drawn on that. People take up to 300 mg/day.
