Hey Guys,
Anyone find an SSRI with wellbutrin effective?
How about an SSRI with tricyclic like desipramine?
How about an SSRI with Provigil? If so, which ssri and which tricyclic?
Thanks,Spike

Spike,
I take celexa 40mg, desiprmine 25mg/2xday, adderal 20mg/2or3xday, and trazodone 50mg at bedtime to sleep. I've been on the full dose for about 8 weeks now and I LOVE it. I am seriously constipated tho'. That is the only side effect and I can eat prunes and drink metamucil.
Good luck,
Carly

It is kind of a hard question to answer. Some people find mixing SSRIs with other things useful, others do not, and others find side-effects from mixing too bothersome.
We also need a little more information. Do you want to mix to counter sexual sideeffects? (Then Wellbutrin + SSRI has been helpful for many). Do you need more energy? Problems with concentration? Have comorbid ADD + depression? What is the problem that prompts your question?

hi,
I experienced success temporarily with a celexa+wellbutrin
combo. ultimately it stopped working for me. Currently, AD-wise
i'm taking prozac+wellbutrin+effexor and am having pretty good
results.
This is the end of the thread.
