The title says it all. I am off xanax and klonopin make me semi impotent....what a bummer. I have been through all the ssris except zoloft. Went to the doc's and he suggested low dose zoloft....said that I could probably still be functional if the dose were kept low enough. I have tried tryciclics, beta blockers, benzos...which worked but I needed more of them lately so I heeded the warning cuz I am an ex addict, and all the new antidepressants includung remeron, trazadone, serzone all for panic and agoraphobia. So any sugestions....I just don't have much faith in low dose zoloft.

I found that Zoloft had the least amount of libibo reduction than any of the other SSri's. That could be because it blocks reuptake of dopamine more than any of the other ssri's.

> MitchFor me it's all a matter of comparison . . . when I'm on a higher dose of Zoloft, being on a lower dose is MUCH better libido-wise. When I'm on nothing, being on a low dose of Zoloft is still significantly worse. I'm currently on a low dose but increasing (again). I read somewhere that Ginko Biloba (60 mg./day) can help with the sexual side-effects. I'm trying that but haven't been taking it long enough to notice a difference.
Good luck!
