Hey, I've been on Paxil for eight months for panic disorder and slight problems with depression. I hate Paxil. I am having severe mood swings and although I no longer have panic attacks I also have no emotions in general. I've heard Effexor is alot better and my doctor seems to think so but doctors aren't the ones taking it so I was just wanting some feed back from the people who know.
I would really appreciate any responce or advice.Thanx,
Rena

Rena,
If you've read my past posts on Effexor and what its done for me, you would know that Effexor has really saved my life! My dose has recently been upped a bit, and some side effects, but nothing that the Xanax and Zyprexa can't help me with. "I" recommend the Effexor...but, listen to your doctor too...he/she may not be the one who 'actually' takes the med., however they do work with and 'study' the people that they treat who are on the Effexor.
Good luck to you.
