I just got it prescribed and searched the internet for information, but nothing useful availaible so far (the paper included in the box does not say very much about it). Sal, did you find something in the meantime? please answer if so.

If you speak french, you can check on the BIAM site (adress give on the links page). BIAM is the official medication site for doctors.
Anyway, I took Tolvon for years. For me it's a good AD, acting on norepinephrine only, very sedative (like Remeron) at the beginning. A littre weight gain and very good for sleep. Normal dosage is about 60 mg/day, but increase slowly 15, 30, then 60 mg. No anticholinergic side effect.
It's on of the only AD i could tolerate untill now.

I have a few personal questions about Tolvon:
Did you have sexual dysfunctions?
Did you ever drink alkohol while taking it (are there any bad reactions?)thank you for your help

Yes, I had no special reaction with alkohol, but I never drink too much. But there is interaction with benzo., increasing benzo. effect.> thank you for your help
